Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TurfTap (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on TurfTap for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modifying or copying the materials
• Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Service
• Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server
• Creating derivative works based on the Service
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Engaging in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

4. Booking and Cancellations

Players

• Bookings are confirmed upon payment and receipt of confirmation
• Cancellations made 24+ hours before booking receive a full refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before booking are non-refundable
• No-shows will be recorded on your account

Venue Owners

• You are responsible for providing accurate court information and availability
• Cancellations by owners may result in penalties and account suspension
• Refunds for owner cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days
• You agree to maintain safe and clean facilities

5. Payment Terms

• All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated
• Payment must be completed through our approved payment methods
• TurfTap charges a service fee on each booking (displayed at checkout)
• Payment information is encrypted and processed securely
• Disputed transactions must be reported within 30 days
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false, defamatory, or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent activities or financial crimes
• Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the Service
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Share another user's account information
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Violate intellectual property rights

7. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for courts and other users. Reviews must be truthful and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are false, abusive, or violate these terms. Fake reviews will result in account suspension or termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURFTAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TurfTap provides the Service "as-is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TurfTap and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

TurfTap reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harassment or abuse of other users
• Non-payment of fees or chargebacks

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

11. Disclaimers

TurfTap does not guarantee the quality, safety, or condition of facilities. Users are responsible for verifying court conditions before booking. TurfTap is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or accidents that occur at booked facilities.

TurfTap does not endorse the accuracy of user-generated content and is not responsible for disputes between users.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of Kenya and resolved through binding arbitration. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya.

13. Changes to Terms

TurfTap reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
